From the Ranch to the Coast: A Story of Connection
We are not chasing perfection. We are building with purpose.
Pacific Vacation Rentals was never meant to be just a business. It was built out of necessity, forged in resilience, and rooted in a deep, unshakable belief in what truly matters.
I was raised on a fifth-generation cattle ranch in Northern California. It is the kind of life that teaches you early on that nothing is handed to you. You earn it. Long days, early mornings, and a profound respect for the land. That is the soil I grew up in. It shapes how you work, how you love, and how you show up in the world.
But some of my most defining memories were not made in the saddle. They were made just up the coast in Southern Oregon.
My maternal grandparents lived in Brookings. For me, it was always more than just a place we visited. It was the place where life finally slowed down. Where time felt different. Where connection did not have to be scheduled. It just happened naturally. Those trips shaped me in ways I did not fully understand back then, but I carry the weight of them in everything we are building today.
Years later, that exact same place became the next chapter of our story.
Today, Brookings is home to two of our signature properties: Azalea Landing and Pacific Landing. The very place that held my childhood memories is now the place where we intentionally create space for other families to experience that exact same feeling. A true coastal reset. A place to finally exhale.
In many ways, this business did not just start on the ranch. It started there, too.
When my husband Robert and I stepped into the full-time operation of the ranch, we were not just continuing a legacy. We were stepping into the weight of responsibility. And as our family grew, so did the need to build something alongside it. Something scalable. Something meaningful. Something that could support our future while honoring the grit of our roots.
That is where it all began.
Azalea Landing was not just our first property. It was our proof of concept. It was a stake in the ground, a belief that space matters. That rest matters. And that the environments we create directly dictate how deeply people connect.
What started as one home has grown into a curated portfolio of high-performing, design-forward vacation rentals across Southern Oregon and Northern California. Each property is intentionally built, strategically positioned, and relentlessly operated to deliver exceptional guest experiences and top-tier performance.
But behind the performance metrics and the five-star reviews is a real story.
We have built this business through seasons of explosive growth, crushing uncertainty, profound loss, and the hard, quiet work of rebuilding. We know what it means to carry responsibility, to navigate complexity, and to keep moving forward when the road is anything but easy.
We have lived the long days.
The late nights.
The risk.
The rebuild.
And we have also lived the moments that make every single second of it worth it.
The road trips.
The games.
The chaos.
The laughter.
Because at the core of everything we do is one undeniable truth: connection is the goal.
Every home in our collection, from Azalea Landing to Sierra Landing to Pacific Landing, is designed with that singular focus. These are not just places to stay. They are environments engineered to slow you down, bring your people together, and create space for what matters most.
And this business is not built alone.
Joe, one of our closest family friends and a lifelong builder, partnered with us to bring Pacific Landing to life. What started as a shared vision became something much bigger. A collaboration rooted in trust, grit, and lifelong friendship. Joe is a proven entrepreneur, a builder at scale, and the kind of man who shows up fully for his family and the people in his life. Building together was not just strategic. It was personal.
And at the center of everything is Robert.
While I lead the vision, growth, and operations of Pacific Vacation Rentals, Robert is running a fifth-generation cattle operation full time. He is the foundation of our family. A steady, grounded leader who shows up every single day.
But more than anything, he is a father first.
Coaching. Teaching. Leading.
Showing up for our kids and our family, day in and day out.
Because this is what we are building toward.
Our family is the reason behind everything we do. We are creating opportunity, freedom, and a future that honors the legacy built before us while kicking the doors wide open for what comes next. My father has spent a lifetime building and preserving this ranch, and today he continues to work side by side with Robert. That legacy of hard work, grit, and commitment is the exact same energy we carry forward in everything we build.
This journey is not perfect.
It is real.
It is earned.
And it is intentional.
We are building homes that reflect that exact same philosophy. Spaces where you can reset, reconnect, and create the kind of memories that actually last.
This is Pacific Vacation Rentals.
Curated homes. Crafted for connection.
And no matter where you are coming from, you are always welcome here.
